Ocean Lewis is an East-London based artist, athlete, and model, bringing together her interests in the world of sports, fashion, and art to create a distinct and formidable portfolio of work. Known for her trademark golden curls, dubbed the ‘Best Curls on Instagram’ by Vogue, and athletic prowess, Ocean’s modelling career continues to go from strength to strength.

Her passion for sports began with playing for Millwall Lionesses and Westham Ladies. After modelling for Chelsea FC, appearing in FIFA’s World Cup advert and JD’s World Cup campaign, Nike discovered Ocean. She was chosen to lead their London’s Fastest campaign, kickstarting her career as a celebrated sports model who has since appeared in multiple campaigns with Adidas.

Ocean’s niche has expanded beyond sports fashion in recent years, allowing her to travel the world as she works alongside big household names such as Calvin Klein, Asos and Jack Wills. As a result of her success in the fashion industry, Ocean became the face of Yves Saint Laurent’s Beauty Glow Foundation and the poster girl for Kérastase’s Curl Manifesto line, appearing in advertisements internationally. For Kérastase, Ocean also illustrated an exclusive print for the limited-edition Curl Manifesto tote, introducing her art to the world of high-end cosmetics and hair products.

Throughout her career, Ocean has remained steadfast in her commitment to her artistic talents. She launched her independent art brand, 37 LDN, in 2017 while completing her A-Levels. Although art school was not compatible with her full-time modelling and athletic commitments, Ocean did not let her passion die and continued to develop her skills independently. With regular product releases and new prints, Ocean’s brand has continued to grow, platforming her unique gothic style.
